Base Project is a non-profit project of Compassion Belfast - a charitable organisation who seek to “change the story of our city, one life at a time.”
Learning new skills, meeting new people and fresh vision for the future are essential for transition into a new story. We want to equip people to tell their story through the arts and media; inspiring and paving the way for the up and coming musicians and creatives by doing so.
We seek to achieve this through two core entities; Base Project Studio and Base Project Tuition.
Base Project Studio in inner-city Belfast provides quality recording facilities for local artists - to work with our in-house team to produce high quality material to tell their story and progress their creative and musical pursuits to the next level.
Base Project Tuition invests in the community by providing an avenue for formal musical education to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity. This is achieved through heavily subsidised tuition provided by experienced music tutors - through funds generated by hire of the Base Project studio and other fundraising projects.
In short: by using our project studio you're funding music tuition for the community.
Here at Base Project we are for the up and coming. That means we want to make audio production accessible for the creatives in our city. We have high quality audio recording facilities available for hire, including a Control Room, Live Room, Vocal Booth and Creative Loft - with all the essentials to get you started. We also have an in-house team available who can record and mix your project. We are a non-profit project therefore funds from the hire of our facility are reinvested back into the project.
Why not get in touch to find out more about pricing and studio specs.
We will be providing heavily subsidised lessons for beginners of a range of ages for guitar, piano and drums. More information about availability and registration will be released in due course.
In the meantime we are raising funds for instruments and equipment for our future students. Would you like to support us?
